Club accounts and roles
Creating a club. Signing up without an invite creates a new club account. The person who signs up becomes that club's head coach. Signing up cannot be used to join an existing club.
One head coach. Each club has exactly one head coach, who administers the club's account: inviting people, setting their roles (assistant coach, coach, viewer or swimmer) and blocking or removing access. Everyone else joins the club only through an invite from the head coach.
Responsibility for access. The head coach is responsible for keeping the club's accounts current, including removing access promptly when someone leaves the club, and for ensuring the club has a lawful basis for the swimmer information it records, as described in the Data Processing Agreement and club data-protection guidance.
Handing over the role. The head coach can pass the role to an assistant coach or coach of the same club using Hand over head coach in the app. The former head coach then becomes an assistant coach. Only the current head coach can do this.
If the head coach is no longer available. The club may ask AthlyraX to appoint a new head coach by emailing a head coach recovery request from the club's registered email address, naming the person who should take over. AthlyraX will verify the request with the club before making any change and may ask for reasonable evidence that the request is authorised by the club. AthlyraX may decline a request it cannot verify. Appointing a new head coach does not change the club's data. See Contact for details.
Liability and service changes
Services and content may be updated, suspended, or changed without notice while maintenance and security work is completed.
